When you’re just a few days out from an election, it can be tempting to slow down.
Everyone is tired and getting burned out. And with early voting stretching out the final push, it can feel like the election will never end.
This is when you need to find your second wind and keep up the momentum.
Elections have consequences. Let those consequences energize you.
Get past whatever personal squabbles are going on—whether it’s arguments with candidates, staff, volunteers, or all of the above!
Put it all aside and stay focused on what matters most right now: our voters. Where are they? What will motivate them to vote? And how should you deliver that message with the time and resources you’ve got left?
Remember, public policy is about personnel—and personnel is about elections.
We can’t slow down or take anything for granted. The things we believe in are too important.
Don’t let up. Don’t walk. Don’t even jog.
Focus. And RUN through the tape on Election Day!
